We had a great experience today at Lice Clinic of Huntsville. Megan was our technician and she was the best! Booking was easy and she was very responsive. Her gentle demeanor helped both my daughter and I feel at ease. Obviously it's not easy to get a 5 year old to sit still but she was patient and offered options to keep her entertained. The procedure was painless for each of us. We had tried treating lice at home and thought we had done well but it seemed to come back a week later. My advice is make one stop: call the lice clinic and be done with it!

Where is the Huntsville lice clinic, and is there parking?
We are located just off I-565 (exit 9) at 190 Lime Quarry Rd Unit 210. When you turn onto Lime Quarry Rd you will see a dark purple shaded building. Turn into the parking lot and look straight ahead at the staircase. Look up at the 2nd floor and you will see ‘Lice Clinics of America’ on the door. Please ensure that everyone being screened or treated has clean and combed-out hair, with no hair products added, such as gels or sprays.
Does everyone in my family need to be checked for lice?
Yes! We strongly recommend having everyone in the household checked when one person has lice. People can have lice without knowing it, since symptoms may take several weeks to appear. Checking everyone at the same time helps find any other infestations before lice has a chance to keep circulating through the household. Our 30-day guarantee also requires all household members to be checked and anyone who has lice to be treated.
Do you treat both children and adults?
Yes! We treat both children and adults at our Huntsville clinic. We see everyone from little kids to adults, and our technicians are experienced in working with all ages, hair lengths, and hair textures.
How long does a lice treatment appointment take?
Most appointments take about an hour from start to finish. Very long, thick, or heavily infested hair may take a little longer, but there is no additional charge. For most families, it’s about an hour with us instead of weeks dealing with lice on your own.
What should I bring to my lice treatment appointment?
Please arrive with clean, dry, tangle-free hair and avoid putting hair products in before your visit. Wear a shirt you don’t mind tossing in the wash when you get home and bring your insurance card if you plan to request reimbursement. If applicable, also bring proof of first responder or military status so our team can discuss available options with you.
We have toys, books, iPads, and other electronic entertainment for the kids, but feel free to bring your own! The heated-air portion of the treatment feels like a warm massage on your head, so adults tend to close their eyes and relax while the kids usually keep busy playing on phones and iPads.
