I live in Abilene TX and I get my hair services in Dallas. I got lice from exposure somewhere and was absolutely panicked because I have tape in extensions and my hair is long. I am very self conscious without them due to my hair thinning, and they are not cheap.
I could not go in to get my extensions removed and that has to be professionally done. I called this clinic and explained my situation. The woman on the phone was so kind and helped me schedule. She said their AirAllé machine would be a great option.
I made the drive and Jj was the one who did my treatment. She was amazing! She was patient and kind about the situation and went the extra mile. She explained she had never dealt with tape in extensions and that she would do her absolute best to help me. She said she was confident in the treatment but a follow up would not hurt. We scheduled a follow up for the following weekend and when I went, I was completely clean! I should also mention that my appointment day got messed up and when I contacted Jj, she said she was off, but she would absolutely come in for me.
I just had my extensions moved up and I’m happy to report no damage to my extensions and my hair dresser was amazed. She said she would tell people about this treatment if their situation involves extensions.
My situation was unique and that left me desperate. Jj was absolutely incredible and I have told everyone about these clinics and specifically the one I used in Fort Worth. Thank you Jj for helping me!
Me, my wife, and our THREE WEEK old baby found some unwelcome riders on our heads last night about 6pm. We scratched our heads a bit for how this could’ve happened (pun intended) and realized we must’ve gotten it when delivering at the hospital a few weeks ago - oh what fun!
We booked our appointment online for next day (today) at 10am. Called ahead to inform the owner Kat that we would all 3 be coming in for treatment and our unique circumstances with the baby and she kindly agreed to fit us in.
Miss Amy saw to our needs once we had reached the clinic. She was WONDERFUL to talk with and helped to put us at ease about the whole situation. Not only was she incredibly kind, she was immensely thorough - which is EXACTLY what you want when dealing with lice and trying to avoid recontamination!! From my wife’s hip length hair, to my collar length, to our brand new baby’s few inches of hair, she took great care to be gentle but to get the little buggers! (yes, pun again)
We felt incredibly cared for and taken care of by Amy. We were thoroughly impressed with her ability to work on all hair and ages! She clearly has a passion for the work and helping others and a gift for putting people at ease in difficult and stressful times. I cannot recommend her enough for anyone who finds themselves in need of help with lice.

Yes! We strongly recommend having everyone in the household checked when one person has lice. People can have lice without knowing it, since symptoms may take several weeks to appear. Checking everyone at the same time helps find any other infestations before lice has a chance to keep circulating through the household. Our -day guarantee also requires all household members to be checked and anyone who has lice to be treated.
Do you treat both children and adults?
Yes! We treat both children and adults at our Fort Worth clinic. We see everyone from little kids to adults, and our technicians are experienced in working with all ages, hair lengths, and hair textures.
How long does a lice treatment appointment take?
Most appointments take about an hour from start to finish. Our Signature AirAllé® treatment is designed to take care of the lice and eggs in one visit, so you can get back to your normal routine without spending days or weeks combing, re-treating, and constantly cleaning at home. Very long, thick, or heavily infested hair may take a little longer, but there is no additional charge. For most families, it’s about an hour with us instead of weeks dealing with lice on your own.
What should I bring to my lice treatment appointment?
Please arrive with clean, dry, tangle-free hair and avoid putting hair products in before your visit. Wear a shirt you don’t mind tossing in the wash when you get home and bring your insurance card if you plan to request reimbursement. If applicable, also bring proof of first responder or military status so our team can discuss available options with you.
We have toys, books, iPads, and other electronic entertainment for the kids, but feel free to bring your own! The heated-air portion of the treatment feels like a warm massage on your head, so adults tend to close their eyes and relax while the kids usually keep busy playing on phones and iPads.
