Where is the College Station lice clinic, and is there parking?
We’re at 4444 Carter Creek Parkway, Suite 101, in Bryan. From East 29th Street, turn onto Carter Creek Parkway by King Street Cleaners. Look for two tan brick buildings on your left with a black sculpture of four 4s between them. Parking is available in that lot—we’re in the one-story building next to MaidPro.
Does everyone in my family need to be checked for lice?
Yes! We strongly recommend having everyone in the household checked when one person has lice. People can have lice without knowing it, since symptoms may take several weeks to appear. Checking everyone at the same time helps find any other infestations before lice has a chance to keep circulating through the household. Our 30-day guarantee also requires all household members to be checked and anyone who has lice to be treated.
Do you treat both children and adults?
Yes! We treat both children and adults at our College Station clinic. We see everyone from little kids to adults, and our technicians are experienced in working with all ages, hair lengths, and hair textures.
How long does a lice treatment appointment take?
Most appointments take about an hour from start to finish. Our Signature AirAllé® treatment is designed to take care of the lice and eggs in one visit, so you can get back to your normal routine without spending days or weeks combing, re-treating, and constantly cleaning at home. Very long, thick, or heavily infested hair may take a little longer, but there is no additional charge. For most families, it’s about an hour with us instead of weeks dealing with lice on your own.
What should I bring to my lice treatment appointment?
Please arrive with clean, dry, tangle-free hair and avoid applying hair products before your visit. Wear a shirt you can wash when you get home. If you qualify for our Medicaid or Medicare discount, please bring your card as proof of coverage. For insurance reimbursement requests, we can provide a health claim form for you to submit to your insurer. We have a TV where kids can choose a movie, TV show, or YouTube video to enjoy during treatment! The heated-air portion feels like a warm massage on your head, so adults tend to close their eyes and relax while kids stay entertained watching the screen.
