My girls had to get checked. Not only were we able to get a reservation for the same day, but my kids where quickly calmed by the incredible staff and owner. Disney music added to the atmosphere. Singing, laughter, and even names for the equipment made it a great experience that otherwise would have been difficult. Thank you Longmont Lice Clinics of America. You are a world apart!

When we suddenly welcomed 6 children through an emergency foster placement, dealing with the possibility of head lice was the last thing we wanted to worry about—but The Lice Clinic turned what could have been a stressful ordeal into a smooth, reassuring experience. From the moment we walked in, Robin and her incredible team took charge with professionalism, warmth, and genuine compassion. They patiently walked us through the entire process, explaining each step clearly so both the adults and the kids understood what was happening. With six kids in tow, I was especially impressed by how efficiently and gently they handled the group without making anyone feel rushed or embarrassed. What stood out most was how they made the children feel comfortable and safe. The kids were nervous at first (as any child would be in a new situation like this), but Robin and her team have a real gift for connecting with children. They used kind, age-appropriate explanations, kept things light and positive, and created an atmosphere where the kids actually felt cared for rather than just “treated.” The entire visit was handled with dignity and respect. The results were fantastic, and their thorough approach gave us complete peace of mind during an already chaotic time. If you’re in the Longmont/Boulder area and need lice treatment—whether for your own family or, like us, in a foster or emergency care situation—The Lice Clinic is the place to go. Great peace of mind to have lice treated completely. Friendly and fast service. Robin did such a great job! Very relieved to have found this clinic which offered same day appointment. Cons: repeated requests for tip which I found bizarre and off putting; I don’t know why we should be asked to tip on top of $185 per person for the comprehensive treatment. We had already spent $440 including screening for the whole family, and then asked to tip 15,20% on top of that. There is also a large sign that says tips are not expected but appreciated. As one who just feels tipping culture is out of hand it all made me so uncomfortable. The pricing is already pretty steep. I had referred my niece for treatment the same day as she had found nits after exposure to my daughter, but she says only a 15 min cursory screen for $30 was done and then she was denied the additional heat treatment despite asking for it. When she returned home sure enough she saw additional nits in her hair for which nothing had been done. So this was distressing to the family and the appt was thought to be a waste of time and money. I think because her appointment was after 5pm they did not want to stay longer to do the additional work.
