Lice Clinics of America Dallas became the third North Texas location owner Amanda Westerman opened after starting with the McKinney clinic in 2016. As more families discovered there was an easier way to deal with head lice, expanding into Dallas was a natural next step.
Amanda’s connection to the lice business started personally. After years in the salon industry, her own twins got lice and she experienced firsthand how stressful it could be for a family. That experience eventually turned into a business focused on making the process easier for other parents.

Where is the Dallas lice clinic, and is there parking?
Lice Clinics of America Dallas is located at 5510 Abrams Road, Suite 121, Dallas, TX 75214, on Abrams between Northwest Highway and Lovers Lane. When you enter the parking lot, stay to the left and look for the last door on the right side of the building. Free parking is available directly outside the clinic.
Does everyone in my family need to be checked for lice?
Yes! We strongly recommend having everyone in the household checked when one person has lice. People can have lice without knowing it, since symptoms may take several weeks to appear. Checking everyone at the same time helps find any other infestations before lice has a chance to keep circulating through the household. Our 30-day guarantee also requires all household members to be checked and anyone who has lice to be treated.
Do you treat both children and adults?
Yes! We treat both children and adults at our Dallas clinic. We see everyone from little kids to adults, and our technicians are experienced in working with all ages, hair lengths, and hair textures.
How long does a lice treatment appointment take?
Most appointments take about an hour from start to finish. Our Signature AirAllé® treatment is designed to take care of the lice and eggs in one visit, so you can get back to your normal routine without spending days or weeks combing, re-treating, and constantly cleaning at home. Very long, thick, or heavily infested hair may take a little longer, but there is no additional charge. For most families, it’s about an hour with us instead of weeks dealing with lice on your own.
What should I bring to my lice treatment appointment?
Please arrive with clean, dry, tangle-free hair and avoid putting hair products in before your visit. Wear a shirt you don’t mind tossing in the wash when you get home and bring your insurance card if you plan to request reimbursement. If applicable, also bring proof of first responder or military status so our team can discuss available options with you.
